Tips on Titles

Titles are indicators of completion of job tiers in Mafia Wars. In New York, Cuba, and Moscow there are three titles for each tier; in Manhattan, Bangkok, Las Vegas, and Italy, there are four. Currently, there are no use for Titles other than showing off.
As of March 27, 2010, you are given titles for mastering Robbing.
Some users change the title to a lower rank to trick people to attack to gain more experience while other users prefer to change the title to a higher rank to avoid being attacked.

Other than the English Language, Mafia Wars can be played in four other languages - Indonesian, German, French and Spanish. Therefore, it is possible to change your title to the respective language.

For a complete list of all titles currently available and their translations in the five Mafia Wars languages go to List of Titles in Different Languages.

Collection TitlesEdit Collection Titles sectionEdit

Collection Titles were introduced on April 5, 2010 and are shown on the Profile page above your Recent Achievements. Underneath your title are tallied the number of times you have vaulted a Collection in a city, and the number of vaults necessary for your next rank. Your Collection Title currently has no other use but to count the number of vaults you have made.
  • Note: Since this is a new feature, all "old" vaults are not counted. Revaulting does count towards the number of vaults.
