How to use Get-a-Nator from Spockholm Mafia tools

Spockhom Mafia Tools brings us a new bookmarklet that compliments the Link-a-Nator.  This one is called the Get-a-Nator and is used to grab all the links your mafia members posted to their status updates. It's still in the works, but Pistol Pete has released the script so we could start using it today.  It will soon be posted the Spockholm Mafia Tools Experimental Page.  For now, you will need to copy the code below and paste it into your browser.  You can also create your own bookmarklet to use until it's officially posted.  To start collecting you mafias free gift links now, follow the instructions below.

1.  Highlight the code below by left clicking your mouse and moving it over the code.  Right click and select copy or press control + C.

2.  If you want, you can create your own bookmarklet by clicking on the little yellow star in Chrome or FireFox and adding the script code to it.  If you don't see the yellow star on your browser when you enter the script code, click on it from a different location (ie, Facebook home page) and choose edit.

Type in Get-a-Nator for the name and paster the code in the URL bar then hit OK.

Now just drag your newly created bookmarklet to where you want it be.  I moved mine to my bookmark toolbar.

Special thanks to M.Asad for explaining that to me.  I didn't have a yellow star when I posted the code into my browser and didn't know I could do this.

3.  Go to your Mafia Wars game and unframe it.  You can do this by clicking on your newly created bookmarklet, pasting the code from above into your browser, or use the Unframe-MW bookmarklet found on the Spockholm Mafia Tools Stable Page.

4.  From any unframed Mafia Wars page, paste the code above into your browser by left clicking your mouse and selecting paste or pressing Control + V or click on your new bookmarklet.  This will activate the  bookmarklet.  Be patient and wait for it to load.

5.  When it's all finished, you will get a list of all the available free gift links.

6.  Click on each link to accept your gift.  I haven't been able to verify what the maximum number of free gifts you can accept in a 24 hour period of time but I believe it's 200.  Remember these links have the same rules as the free gifts.  You can only accept one per person per 24 hours.  Make sure you accept the gifts you need the most as multiple links that come from the same person won't work.  This why it's a good idea to encourage your mafia members to use the Link-a-Nator everyday.  The more mafia who post their links in their status updates, the more links you will have.  For detailed instructions on how to use the Link-a-Nator, read the two instructions guides Link-a-Nator and The New Link-a-Nator which are posted on this blog.
